 Life Coach Infomation Program


Life Coaches our  program focuses on male and female ages 13-25 in every community,   we will  provide, participants with information, on Project Me classes, and professional counseling, education, job training and the support  will help them learn to overcome barriers, increase their confidence and gain hope for their futures. The objective of the program is to decrease rates of recidivism and homelessness  by encouraging and guiding participants to make choices that will enable them to be successful in our society.

Life Coaches  Eligibility Requirements

Be willing to complete a background check and finger printing free of charge 
Be at least 20 years of age
Reside in the County of program
Be willing to adhere to all Ivory’s Place Life Coaching Program policies and procedures
Student can commit on a semester basis 
Community residents must agree to a twelve months commitment to the program
Commit to spending a minimum of eight hours a month with the participant
Be willing to communicate with the participant (phone, group, email etc.)weekly
Complete the screening procedure
Agree to attend orientation and trainings as required
Be willing to submit monthly meeting and activity reports
Have access to bus routing or reliable transportation
Have a current driver’s license or State Id, auto insurance, and good driving record
Have a clean criminal history
Have never been accused, arrested, charged, or convicted of child abuse or molestation
Not be a user of illicit drugs alcohol or controlled substances in an excessive or inappropriate manner
Not be currently in treatment for substance abuse. If a substance abuse problem has occurred in the past    the applicant  must have completed a non- addictive period of at least five years      
Not currently be under treatment for a mental disorder or have been hospitalized for a mental disorder in      the  past three years
Not have falsified information during the course of the screening process
